The rare Super Blue Blood moon was upon us, and I wasn't missing it! I drove to one of my all-time favorite beaches, one I've frequented, Little Corona in Newport Beach. With the actual eclipse not occurring until dawn I spent most of the night perched atop my car with a warm blanket and hot chocolate. The streets filled as photographers wielding long glass and tripods clambered out of their cars to capture the event. It was a calm morning with a lot of curious, smiling faces.
