Yep, that's me! Starry Night leggings and all. It was the first voyage with my newly renovated pop-up camper. The wiring in my car was installed that morning, and the kitchen's gas lines weren't even hooked up - among other things - but I set out to the comfortable campgrounds of Joshua Tree Music Festival beaming with pride nonetheless. The weekend didn't end up becoming the photographic journey I had planned, but more of a personal, heart-warming journey that escalated my excitement for the adventures that lay ahead. The time I spent working to find images fell short, but what I gained in that time meant more than a few pictures. Everyone I talked to was ecstatic for me, my new home, and the stories I'd come back with in October.
