Desert Textures

It wasn’t planned that I would connect with the desert the way I have, but here I am, barefoot and thriving in this intense environment. Observing the beautifully rugged landscape has been fascinating. Even plants that may not be native to the region have adapted some sort of sharp spike or prickly pear. The desert also shows us how growth and rebirth are possible even through traumatic experiences like wildfires. Life can continue to thrive after death and destruction. These are images showcasing the various textures found in Southern California’s desert wilderness. All of these images are available to purchase as a stand alone print, with a black frame, or even on canvas.
